Our connection to the Minho academy goes back a long way, and we were invited by the research teams of the 3B’s Research Group, led by Prof. Rui L. Reis, to help them further enhance their internal and external communication by creating a set of communication supports needed to present their scientific research projects at international events and conferences.
The central premise of the branding and stationary concepts created for each brand, such as the 3B’S Innovation & Services project, Hydrustent, Aquilles or Forecast, as well as the communication supports developed to mark the 20th anniversary of this institute based in Guimarães, was always in line with the graphic language that underpins its mission in the area of life sciences, biotechnology and materials and tissue engineering.
It was and continues to be a reference project for our team due to the innovation and research component, which is transversal to each project and which we try to convey in the laboratory photo shoot and institutional video, developed with photographer Ivo Tavares, where we try to reveal a little behind the scenes of the development of new biodegradable and/or biomimetic materials, which give rise to different solutions and clinical applications, such as the regeneration and replacement of human tissues (bone, cartilage, skin).
